Monday's the wet one at 60% showers, so keep it sheltered or flat. Tuesday clears to 15% - that's the day for the big views and the rocky climb, if the track's dry.

Strenuous

~25 min from camp

The Steep Esk Challenge

The short, sharp alternative for Tuesday - but only if it's properly dry. A quick stop in Esk, then a 3.5 km steep rocky climb to valley views. The rock turns dangerously slippery when wet, so skip it if there's any moisture about.

    Esk

Quick pit stop to regroup before the climb.
